Shelly Leslie Coaching + Creative was born out of a catalytic life event: An unplanned end to a 35-year career that was wildly fun and rewarding, but had taken over my life. Then came the massive identity crisis that comes from that kind of change, and the profound questions: Who am I without that job? What am I here to do? Where do I go from here?

Reinvention Through Clarity and Courage

That’s what I coach. Because it’s what I’ve lived over and over in my life and career. The hardest moments in life can deliver the biggest gifts, we just have to mine for that gold. I am guided by curiosity, creativity, and courage—developed from my career and the life experiences that shaped the reinventions throughout my life: Divorce and coming out, parenting to co-parenting, blended family to grandparenting, intrapreneur to entrepreneur, media executive to life coach. Life’s just a series of reinventions, isn’t it?

My career in media, leadership, marketing, communication, and creative direction taught me to live in a world of imagination, reframing, and possibility—and that’s exactly what’s needed to navigate through life challenges and release attachment to old patterns that no longer serve you. Everyone, including YOU, has access to the powerful space of new possibilities. I ask the powerful questions to open that treasure trove waiting inside you. Trust that you already have the answers you seek. As a trained Coach, I can help you move the obstacles obscuring your view and keeping you stuck.

Training with the incredibly insightful and transformational life coach Martha Beck was a life-changing experience. The coaching program helped me fully see my own North Star, and that my purpose has always been to help people. I promise to bring an untroubled mind to our sessions, and a sacred space for you to bring your whole self. I have a toolbox full of coaching tools, but the most important are intuitive listening, and asking impactful questions that uncover the answers you seek. Transformation can happen in an instant. Real life change comes with what you do with the insights. My intention as a Coach is to empower you to trust yourself, reclaim your voice, and design a life that is authentic, purposeful, and boldly your own. You can count on me to be transparent, authentic, and open.
